At Boeing Future of Flight the ticket choice is simpler than it first looks. There are two options: Future of Flight General Admission and the Boeing Everett Factory Tour.

General Admission gives you the Gallery, the Sky Deck and Boeing Studio. The Factory Tour ticket gives you all of that plus the timed factory visit.

General Admission discounts

Boeing lists General Admission at $14 for adults, $12 for seniors and military, $7 for ages 6–15, and free for children aged 5 and under. It includes the Gallery, Sky Deck and Boeing Studio, but no factory access. Buy from Boeing’s ticket calendar.

Factory Tour discounts and changes

The published adult range is $42–$46; senior and military rates are $36–$37, and youth aged 6–15 pay $30–$32. Height restrictions still apply. Boeing describes online rescheduling up to two hours before the visit; check the terms on your reservation for refunds and changes.

A guided departure from downtown Seattle

Boeing Factory and Future of Flight Tour from Seattle includes round-trip transport and factory admission in the site’s saved itinerary. Allow about 4½ hours for the whole excursion; the 80-minute factory visit is only part of it. Compare the live price with direct admission plus both rideshare journeys. Confirm the pickup address on your voucher and ask the operator about storing belongings on the coach.

What do you see inside the factory?

Visitors travel by coach into Boeing’s Everett complex and view current production from a designated visitor balcony. The visitor experience currently highlights the 777/777X assembly line. Depending on production activity, you may see aircraft at various stages of assembly, major structural sections, tooling, workstations and manufacturing activity.

Do not expect a static exhibit. Boeing is running a real aircraft factory, not staging a production demonstration for visitors.

Can you take photos?

Not in the factory. Phones, cameras and other electronics are not permitted during the factory portion, and bags and loose items have to stay behind too.

Future of Flight provides free lockers for belongings before departure.

Can you take photos in the Gallery and Sky Deck?

Yes. Photos and video are allowed in the public areas of Future of Flight, and the Sky Deck is where most visitors take their aviation photographs.

Is there a height requirement?

Yes. Every Factory Tour participant must be at least 4 ft / 48 in / 122 cm tall.

The rule applies regardless of age. Families should measure younger children before booking. General Admission has no height requirement.

What if a child is too short?

They can still visit:

The family may need to split up if some members still want to take the Factory Tour.

For children interested in aircraft, engineering, machines or STEM, the factory can be memorable. The key limitations are the height requirement, the structured 80-minute format and the ban on phones and cameras.

Children who are too short for the factory can still visit the Future of Flight Gallery, Kids’ Zone and Sky Deck.

Is the tour accessible?

Future of Flight is accessible, and alternative arrangements can be made for visitors who cannot use the standard factory route. The standard route involves about 0.3 miles / 0.5 km of travel round trip, including coach transportation, walking, 22 stairs and an elevator.

The Sky Deck overlooks:

Is the Boeing Store included?

The Boeing Store needs no attraction ticket at all, and neither does the Paper Plane Café.

Can you upgrade later?

If Factory Tour space remains, yes. Boeing lets General Admission visitors upgrade to a Tour ticket on arrival, pending availability, or in advance through Customer Service. Do not rely on this when the factory is the main reason for your visit.

Parking

On-site parking at Future of Flight is free. Use Boeing Future of Flight as your navigation destination instead of searching for the Boeing Everett Factory, which has multiple industrial entrances.

Boeing Factory Tour vs Museum of Flight

They are different attractions.

Boeing Future of Flight / Everett Factory Tour is north of Seattle and focuses on working aircraft manufacturing.

The Museum of Flight entry ticket is for the separate museum south of downtown Seattle and focuses on historic aircraft and aerospace collections.

If you want to see how airplanes are built, choose Everett. If you want a large collection of preserved aircraft, choose the Museum of Flight. Aviation enthusiasts may want both.

Is the Boeing Factory Tour worth it?

For aviation, engineering and manufacturing enthusiasts, yes. The distinctive part is not simply seeing Boeing aircraft; it is seeing them inside a working factory.

It is less compelling for visitors with no particular interest in aviation who have only a short time in Seattle.

Is the Factory Tour worth the extra cost?

For most first-time aviation visitors, yes. General Admission gives you the exhibits and the Sky Deck.
